Barbara and Joerg, arrived in Nova Scotia in February 2021 and bought the Edelweiss Inn & Restaurant.  After dedicating a year to restoring and revitalizing the historic building, they officially opened their doors Valentine’s Day weekend in 2022—a symbolic beginning to their journey of sharing heartfelt meals with their community.  Since then, Edelweiss has been a beloved retreat for locals and visitors alike, offering a taste of home-cooked comfort in an intimate and inviting setting.  Edelweiss Restaurant takes pride in serving authentic German inspired dishes, made from scratch with the finest ingredients.
